Form is the quickest way to see who is returning points right now, and it is the number many managers look at first. That is also its weakness: it covers about four matches, so one big score can carry it, and it says nothing about the next opponents.
Treat this list as a shortlist. Open a player to see whether the points came from goals and assists or from bonus and clean sheets, check the xGI per 90 to see whether the chances back it up, and look at the next fixtures before buying.
