Editorial policy
Our gameweek articles are signed by the Fantasy Fixtures Data Desk. This page explains what that means, so you can judge how much to trust what you read.
Where the numbers come from
Every figure comes from our own database, which we update every day from the public Fantasy Premier League data: prices, ownership, points, minutes, expected goals (xG) and assists (xA), injury flags and fixture difficulty. Team form, start chances and fixture runs are calculated from that data with the methods described on ourpredicted lineups and fixture difficulty pages.
How the articles are written
Articles are drafted with the help of an AI model working from a data file we build for each gameweek. It does not browse the internet or invent statistics: it can only use the figures in that file. Before anything is published:
- An automatic check compares every price, percentage and player named in the article with the database.
- A member of our team reads the article, fixes anything that is wrong or unclear and approves it.
- Injury news and press-conference updates are added by hand, and marked as such.
We publish a small number of articles per gameweek, on a fixed schedule before the FPL deadline. We don't publish rewritten versions of other sites' articles.
Accountability
After each gameweek, every article shows how the players it recommended actually scored, good or bad. Old articles stay online with those results so you can check our record.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, tell us. We correct factual errors as soon as we can and update the article's “updated” date.
Independence
Fantasy Fixtures is not affiliated with the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League, and no club, player or sponsor pays for coverage. The site is funded by advertising, which never influences our picks.
