FPL forwards at a glance
Haaland (Man City) is the top-scoring forward going into gameweek 8 with 58 points, ahead of João Pedro (47) and Isak (42). On value, Kostoulas leads with 7.2 points per £m. The best current form belongs to Haaland (9.5). The most-owned is Haaland, in 76.9% of teams.
Forwards score 4 points for a goal and 3 for an assist, with nothing for clean sheets, so they live and die by goal threat. Many managers build around one or two premium strikers and fill the rest of the line with a cheap bench option. Prices in this position range from £4,500,000 to £15,700,000.
